Where to begin?
Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin is an intense roller coaster ride from the beginning. It explores humanity at its worst during a difficult era for Japan as it delves into the lives (or what's left of their lives) of 7 young men
This anime is not for the faint of heart as the men's struggles become your own the more you're vested into the anime. There are times I just had to stop watching for the day because the feels became too much
But like the story itself, if you can bear through the pain, suffering, and torment there is a rewarding experience. Just as the characters experience hope, dismay, and reach the light at the end of the tunnel - you too are in it for the ride sharing in their experience
The story is beautifully written and the voice acting is top notch. Though there is no superhuman fighting the animation and action sequences exist to advance the plot and storyline and done in such an elegant manner it adds to the realism of the experience
I definitely recommend this anime as it is one of the best I have personally seen in a very long time. I promise if you are willing to make it through the first 7-8 episodes you'll be rewarded with an experience unlike any other
